I’d like to say all mind comes back to literacy, even tho language preceded writing. That without it you have no agency, hence it was illegal for serfs and slaves. Paul was smart enough without it. Plato opposed it in writing. It’s behind the errors of sophists poets rhetorists. No authority, affirmething, theory of literature.
