@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org @_L1vY_@mstdn.social So disappointing. If humans don’t stop consuming the amount of animal products we’re currently eating (beef especially), we’re doomed. Animal agriculture is a major driver of deforestation and the extinction crisis, uses massive amounts of water while polluting waterways and emits somewhere around 15 to 20% of greenhouse gases worldwide.

I guess the beef industry’s stupid propaganda command center is working (link to article in alt text).

It was over processed "food" and very expensive. I create better tasting and healthier homecooked meat substitutes.

@TrueNorthSpice@mastodon.world @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org @_L1vY_@mstdn.social Not everyone has time to make their own meat substitutes. The latest iteration is fairly healthy, especially compared to beef. And just because something is processed, doesn’t make it bad. https://www.wired.com/story/processed-food-health-meat-substitute-environment/

first of all:

Please point out where I said "processed food"...? There is a difference between over-processed and processed.

And second: If people decided to spend one afternoon a week prepping food for the week they could make homemade meals. It's a matter of making a priority and organizing time.
