@codinghorror@infosec.exchange it’s paywalled but all text, not video or locked into an app. Not paying for news is how we ended up with the toxic ad-tech surveillance industrial complex and most media pathologies today. I believe The Information’s reporting is valuable enough to pay the $400+ annual subscription, even if a lot of it gets paraphrased and plagiarized pretty quickly .

@codinghorror@infosec.exchange I read the Rabois interview, BTW, nothing strikes me as preposterous, apart from the claim GPT5 will bury everyone else, when the opposite seems to be true. Of course, Rabois is an OpenAI investor and thus biased.

Lots of platitudes, however, and you’ll get more insightful commentary from Dare Obasanjo on Mastodon.
