Well, shit.
Time for a new bong. Again. (It's easier for me to order a new bong than go get a new downstem: the nearest bong shop is in Frankfurt.)

I've found a shop in Wiesbaden that has parts. ๐
There's another bong with a broken downstem in the closet, with same size fittings; I believe 14mm.
Hopefully, I'll be able to get a downstem or two, maybe even rubber stoppers/adapters, far cheaper than the cost of a new bong. (I currently wrap masking tape around the one-hitter to make it fit.)
It's an hour ride each way.
