@rogeredwards@gamepad.club I feel your thoughts on parties deep down. First day back to school for our kids this morning. The school’s parent council was hosting a back-to-school-meetup at a local breakfast restaurant. Both my wife and I firmly agreed to pass. We don’t enjoy socializing with people we do know, let alone complete strangers.

@kevinbrill@gamepad.club When our son was of school age we found navigating the somewhat contrived social activities of the other parents tricky. All too often there was no reral interest in friendship and soclalising. People just wanted to know if you could be of use to them in anyway.
