This is how ignorance spirals, through time:
Parents will pay $2000 dollars a month, for "school choice", assuming their brat is getting a better education.
"It MUST be a better education, since I only pay $200 dollars, out of my property tax, for public schools."
2 or 3 generations later, when the private schools are feeding the brats discount Domino's pizzas, for lunch, and their kid has been beaten up 3 out of every 5 days, they will scream, "bloody murder", only to find out that they have no recourse, in the private system.
Then, they will ask why the fuck the government doesn't do something about this problem?
Like, hey, maybe, let's invent a system of schools, that are paid for by everyone, so that parents all have an equal say, in how the schools are administered?
Rinse, repeat.
The myopia is physically painful, to thinking mind.
