billyi miss #defcon </3
billygenuinely first time going, thought it'd be mid and overhyped
i honestly mean this, i've seen, heard and learnt some fantastic things, i've met some amazing people, it's gone way too fast and i'm going to cry if anything gets in the way of me going next year
billygot to do cold calls today, but even before that going to some talks, hearing how people set up cmd & controls via chrome, seeing people kitted out with radio jacking equipment, it is such a unique environment
i know this is such a wet post but i rarely come across events that i feel resonates with me, the only other one being insomnia gaming festival
billylessons learnt:
- bring my cool gadgets along, i'll still fit in
- remember that it ends sunday noon
- try to practice an american accent for cold calls
- taxis and ubers are not the same thing here
