@mayintoronto@beige.party I used the Scarborough RT on the 31 December 2022, to experience it once in my life before its scheduled decommissioning date… little did I know that how it would shut down.

Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures on that warm gloomy day 😞

@EdwinG@mstdn.moimeme.ca @mayintoronto@beige.party They had taken off all of the sound insulation from the floors of the trains, so it was deafening when the trains were empty. Then there was a stop that would go over some sort of garbage treatment plant, so it smelled like fart. It was never an enjoyable ride, but it served me well for many years.
