I was about to order a small USB-powered desk fan for $7.99 -- I need something small and quiet to blow on me while I do my radio reports -- my other fans are just too noisy. There was a selection box to order two, so I said what the hell i can use an extra one, let's see what the discount is. The discount was 50%. So two fans for ... $7.99 total out of pocket. Same as one fan.
Nothing makes sense anymore.
