I could have written thisππΌ

I used to believe if enough people knew terrible things were happening, then they would stop them from continuing to happen.
Time has proven me wrong, and I feel stupid for ever having believed it.
@GottaLaff@mstdn.social well, what would you like to do or have someone else do about it? Mutual aid? Leftist target practice? Underground railroad sorts of things? What do you think other people should be doing? And what are you doing?
@XenoDangerEvil@dpw.social I've answered that question in my writings, podcasts, and posts for years.
@GottaLaff@mstdn.social ok. I'm not familiar, links might be helpful. I don't see any in your bio. It can be helpful to onboard people who don't know you or what you've written without writing them off immediately. I'm happy to listen to your podcast
@XenoDangerEvil@dpw.social I stopped doing the podcast work a few months ago after 14 years.
And I wasn't "writing anyone off," but to ask me to write up an entire list of how people can help is a little much.
Just go back and read my TL. I've been suggesting ways for years, and can't take the time to reiterate everything in a reply.
@GottaLaff@mstdn.social id argue writing 1 or 2 things is very helpful if you consider that your audience might be new to this and looking for guidance. I'm sure you're doing good work, but, like you I am busy too. Id say, if people have a few days here and there looking up your local election administration and volunteering to be an election worker can be useful. I don't think it would take much time to type the name of the podcast. I listen voraciously, always happy to find another. Cheers
@XenoDangerEvil@dpw.social, I'd suggest you busy yourself with things that don't include telling people how to post. A person's body of work doesn't begin when you discover it.
