@NJWookie@mindly.social I look at both sides, two parties, the two poles right now, and it's very, very clear to me that they are not equivalent, that they are not equally maleficent and destructive, that one is moving as fast as possible to usher in a fascist regime and other is not. I don't have time for the both-sides game because it distorts reality, and I think we all need to do all we can to stay rooted in reality right now.

I agree. Iβm not making to both sides are the same argument. I only am saying that power can change well meaning individuals and we need to remain vigilant to see those changes toward bad intentions within those we support. Active politicians and candidates that show a willingness and drive to limit their own power and/or to take powerful influence out of the system are the ones I support most. I honestly donβt want the politicians that crave the job for themselves but are truly doing it to serve their constituents.
