This is why some smart people I know left Mastodon after 10 minutes of trying it out. People made this place not fun to be here. Why be on social media if it doesn't provide some enjoyment?

I just am in no mood for endless threads on debating how awful AI is after trying to share something I thought would be good.

Taking this piece off into an endless discussion about the evils of AI is as ridiculous as people reading cartoons literally, feeling the need to show off one's intellectual prowess on physics by pointing out the Road Runner can't stand in midair while the coyote falls off the cliff.
