That would work great. You could layer the plates with wood sticks and do them all at once.

TIL that published dimensions for plastic storage totes are OUTSIDE dimensions, which include overhangs, handles, and don't account for any top-to-bottom taper. So a tote advertised as 30" long might only fit something 27" long at the inside bottom. That makes sense, I guess, but it almost tripped me up. Fortunately, I remembered to take a tape measure when I went shopping and avoided disappointment.
