@ChrisJohnRiley@infosec.exchange I'm trying to retire at 55 and I tell ya: find good financial advisors. The ones I have can't seem to remember what my desires are and they keep sending me retirement projections that differ wildly except for one concrete goal: portfolio growth at all costs, to the point of being in a higher tax bracket in retirement than today. 🤯![]()

@xabean@infosec.exchange I've been consistently disappointed by advisors everywhere I've looked. I even had to point out simple maths errors on some simple things.
I prefer to educate myself and go my own way. The bogleheads forums and direction are great starting points.
I've just hit 48 and trying on early retirement for a while to see how it fits.
