@jexner@tooting.ch here’s a picture of my fat bike. It’s about 11 years old and was one of the early fat bikes. It’s made of steel and the tires are not quite as wide as modern fat bikes. I always loved the first light snowfall because it handled it really well, but I’ve had to walk it out a few times like you. This bike would make a pretty decent touring bike since it’s loaded with mount points. Even though I don’t use it nowadays, I’ll keep it for that day!

If you put a shorter stem, that thing is more than capable of descending some pretty dicey stuff.
