In the jails run by Trump's secret police, inmates are tied behind their back and made to eat their food without using their hands, like dogs. And when you protest, ICE attacks violently and fingers are broken.

The list of lawsuits when this is over, will be unfathomably long and very, very expensive for US taxpayers.

This is Abu Graib but on US soil.

They did shoot Beria summarily in the Soviet Union in 1953 and Ceausescu in Romania in 1989, so, who knows...

That’s the only way back from any of this; it won’t be lawsuits, it’ll have to be firing squads. They’ll never voluntarily relinquish power.

The mob lynches the most notorious collaborators.

Surviving collaborators get trials, then killed or sent to jail.

At least France didn't get a communist dictatorship after the Second World War.
It was much worse in Eastern Europe.

I don't believe they only shot collaborationists in France, though.
I would think some settling of scores unrelated to the German occupation was perpetrated as well (like it happened elsewhere); the French perhaps don't talk about that much.
