@sortius@infosec.exchange I so wish we'd gotten an ALP minority government last election, forcing him to work with the Greens and get pulled leftward. (But the electorate had to make sure Dutton didn't get in.)

@static@aus.social yeh, it was a basic misunderstanding of how our electoral system works. People had just seen Trump get elected, heard the news it was '3rd parties' (it wasn't), and figured it works the same here.

I swear we need a new, proper, education campaign on preferential voting
