Well, that was an interesting "interaction".
Walking down Peel St and an Asian dude is abusing his Asian girlfriend. So I stop and walk back, she walks out of the ally they were in, clearly shaken.
I said "are you alright?" That was enough to send the dude into an aggressive rage with me, in front of a whole restaurant. So I took photos of him, he got angrier and threatened to punch me (hand high, usual bully shit).
He didn't notice a cop car was right there. He bitched to the cops I'd taken his photo, and straight up admitted to threatening me. Cops said "it's a public place, he can take photos". Lights went on, he was on the ground in seconds.
Worst part is, a said "he's all red flags" to the girl and she spent the time I was walking away begging me to delete the photos.
I straight up said "I'm posting them everywhere when I get home, and I can't help you if you're going to stay with him"
