One time I complained that EU countries make things hard for disabled immigrants and got asked "why? Which policies?" And I don't think they were malicious but that really exemplifies the issue. The issue isn't a "no disabled people allowed" sign, it's the fact you either need a job or college acceptance to even be considered for most countries. That's structural ableism.
