fwiw I don't think any court is ever going to meaningfully find against the AI industry for the same reason they didn't stop YouTube, and European regulators continue to let Meta do whatever it wants: western legal systems serve wealth and power and the AI industry is wealthy and powerful right now. it has nothing to do with the law.

I have a feeling they will find a way to say it's ok for certain AI to do but not others. That they'll come up with a story that says only the largest companies are safe with this tech and tell everyone else they can't steal data
