I wasn't going to watch the "Sydneysiders don't know how to tram" shit from The Guardian, but Jesus fucking Christ.
Wake the fuck up Sydney.
I suppose it just reinforces that Sydneysiders are fucking idiots

@sortius@infosec.exchange the metro is very good though
@sortius@infosec.exchange The uber eats scooter was like... colour me surprised
@sortius@infosec.exchange that video is wild. The Canberra light rail publishes similar. That more people aren't killed this way is pure luck.
@lilstevie@infosec.exchange honestly, I get they need to get there fast, but life is full of bullshit, and if you can't get the deliveries from a specific place "on time", stop taking them
@sortius@infosec.exchange https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJNR2EpS0jw overall the whole video has me humming this for no reason what so ever :p
@trib@aus.social as I was saying to Mel earlier, all it'd take is the right campaign. Melbourne was as bad, if not worse, when I moved down, but the "rhino on a skateboard" campaign has helped heaps. There's still incidents, and if you look it up, it's mostly cars these days, but far fewer than before
@lilstevie@infosec.exchange hehehehe, yeh, that song and the rhino campaign are how I demonstrate how we fixed our transit deaths with trams/trains
@sortius@infosec.exchange I don't think any victorian forgets the skateboarding rhino or dumb ways to die
@lilstevie@infosec.exchange the rhino still goes strong, but, yeh, that song is burned into all our minds
