So, I did a bad thing, and, yet again, it turned out good.

I was sick of watching the male harlequin rasboras pick each other off, one by one, in the female plakat tank - the school started at 12, and dwindled to 4 males, and one female, then they killed the female.

As any aquirists does, we try not to actively kill healthy animals, but more, encourage our bigger fish to have a snack. It sounds cruel, but I just didn't want to watch them die one by one.

Apparently a slow flow planted tank was what was triggering this, because as soon as I chucked them in the big tank, they've schooled up with the danios. Not only that, the cichlids are just as disinterested in the rasboras as they were with the danios, so I now have a school of constantly terrified fish that are in no danger of being eaten
