you know... when a friend says some people are worried about you. I just have to say reach out then. don't tell someone else and have them tell me especially when there's no names.
I will also just say. that everyone has their own opinions on things. you believe your truth I believe mine. that doesn't make our truths wrong just we agree to disagree and cary on with our lives different truths shouldn't mean we can't be friends.

I'm also not taking issue with your truth. Yes, you're entitled to your own opinion. However, I'm concerned that your opinion really only comes from one source.
I don't want to see this ruin our friendship, but I'm afraid of what that narrow exposure might do to your perception of things.
I'm just trying to look out for you, because even if we don't talk as much as we used to, I still care.

I can see why people don't really bother with politics but. shrugs I do sometimes and that's me I follow the news sorce I've followed since I was in 8th grade and that's pretty much that. they take in and show things from both sides so. shrugs

I can say we're acquaintances. which one of us is telling the truth. we both think we are therefore there is no true because we both think we're true.

@lunar_fang@mastodon.stickbear.me The point is that act in itself changes the "slant" of the network. They've been sued once. They could be again. So while there may be coverage of, both sides, that doesn't mean it's fair coverage of each one.
Do I think some things that happen are overblown? Sure. But that doesn't mean they all are. That's my opinion, formed from a wide base. And I worry that because yours is so narrow, that you're easier to manipulate, and that you won't see it until the world has completely changed around you.
But again... I'm sorry. I guess what will be will be, and I'm powerless to prevent it this time.

But as I said previously, what will be will be, and it seems I'm powerless to do anything. If, on account of her knowledge base, she wants to believe the current admin knows what it's doing or that Hitler "did some good things..." well, it's her call. I've shared my concerns/fears/etc, but at the end of the day she's still her own person. So... I'm just going to back away from this one.

friend maybe but friends don't keep hounding friends in a bid to try and "protect them. you're pushing and you know very well what happens when I get pushed I lash out. you're running in circles now and it won't get anywhere. I'm not some little kid who needs to be protected. or anything of the sort.
meow, meow, fucking meow. just because I prefer one media source shouldn't matter. telling me bad shit about it isn't going to make me not listen. I just have better things to do with my days then doom scroll multiple news places that could tell me contridictory things. now that you've got other people continuing the conversation drop it and don't guilt me by saying you're powerless to stop stuff. to change stuff that can't be changed. guilting me sure won't change anything other then to possibly get me to break ties. you're not my keeper.
