Then there's a breakup via socials, like removing a Farcebook relationship status. Then down below all of that, there's pure ghosting. And then way down, several layers of sediment below even that, there's breakup by AI.
(Yes, I typed Farcebook entirely by accident, but then decided to leave it.)

Be true to yourself, try something (in a safe environment) and evaluate the reaction. If it didn’t go according to expectations, learn from it (and hopefully one would not need those skills again).
