i have a whole collection of tape measures, which i buy when i can't find my tape measure. on every single instance, i find the missing one as soon as i buy a new one. up to 8 extras at the moment...
in some insane alternate dimension vibe, i never seem to be able to find the extras either when i'm looking. the universe is cruel.
