okay we got one "um sir you can't be on wheels in buildings" from this old lady to which i gave an exasperated sigh, sat down to take them off, and promptly got back up after she rounded a corner
nobody else cared at ALL it's awesome

the carpet was the most annoying part because it covered so much of the long open stretches and it was the kind that slows skates to a CRAWL it felt like i was rolling on glue
