No cars for you. No modern cartridge firearms. No modern medicine. No painkillers except willow-bark tea. No antibiotics. No electricity. No indoor plumbing. No telephones. No TV. No talk radio. No credit cards. You want to go to town, walk or go by horse. Carry cash. You want to go hunting? Learn to load a black-powder muzzle-loader. A cap-and-ball revolver if you're lucky. You got injured? The barber has a sideline in surgery. He hasn't heard of antisepsis yet. And forget about anything in aluminum cans.
