@alexadeswift@lgbtqia.space @StillIRise1963@mastodon.world A lof of these things can not be conclusive located in India or China, e.g. the counting rods which predate India's decimal system by about a millennium, and already were about to fade out, replaced by the Abacus, when people started to use a similar system in India. Only in Japan counting rods survived the Abacus.
