@KyleBorah@mastodon.social It is, yeah. MacWhisper even picked it up as such and wrote that in the transcript which I thought was cool. It didn't write out the words, but it wrote the fact that it noticed Italian.

@FreakyFwoof@universeodon.com @KyleBorah@mastodon.social If you presented the Italian section only to Whisper, and set the primary language to Italian, and told it to translate to English, it would. I have had Whisper transcribe some Portuguese recordings very successfully.
