@JamminJerry@mastodon.stickbear.me The thing was so loud, it clipped internally. The Rode records at 32-bit float like our zoom recorders, so any clipping/distortion you hear is before the microphone even gets it, unless it's louder than the microphone can actually record, but I'm not sure about that.
