Okay, I realize that no one will have an actual answer here, because who can guarantee the weather, especially two months in advance?

But, for those of you who know or live in
#Victoria, BC. #YYJ

Can I safely risk a visit to BC’s political capital in mid-October, with the hope that the place will be warm and dry enough not to be a horrible experience? I’m planning on cycling everywhere once I get there.

@IanAMartin@mstdn.ca I’ve lived in Victoria for 10+ years and would say you’ve got about a 1/3 chance of getting rained on. Downtown Victoria is in sheltered by mountains that generally push the rain north of the city so the central core is much drier than even a few miles out. Lots of bike lanes too.
