so I posted previously about a bad number for paying users of AI services vs. free users - it was 3%, but it's bad enough I headlined it as "3%*".

is there a robust number anyone knows of? I vaguely recall seeing 5-7% but can't remember where

this one says 8%

any others welcomed

Worth noting that 8% is near the high end of estimates for the Lizardman's Constant (the number of folks who will tick the obvious nonsense answer to a questionnaire). 3% is below the low estimates. So both of these numbers are β€˜approximately no one’.
