Just like we failed to stop countless acts of genocide against the indigenous tribes.
Just like we failed to stop centuries of racist abuse of freed slaves.
Just like we tolerated slavery for 4 centuries or so.
Just like we failed to hold anyone accountable for two separate pro-fascist coups before WW2.
Again and again throughout our history, we failed. The monsters usually get away with it.
