@grumble209@kolektiva.social Sinking oil tankers? I see you’re a big environmentalist, not to mention a champion of maritime law.

@kevinrothrock@infosec.exchange They only have oil in them half the time. Sink them on the way home from delivering oil if that makes you feel better.

I'd rather sink some oil tankers than continue to watch Ukraine fight and die. When the US had professionals in the government, this was called an embargo or a naval blockade.

It was cowardly that NATO didn't blockade both combatants when this started.

@grumble209@kolektiva.social If you think it’s environmentally safe to sink an oil tanker on a return trip, you’re misinformed. If you think a naval blockade of Russia would result in less death than what’s already happening in Ukraine, you’re insane.

@kevinrothrock@infosec.exchange Safe is relative. How many decades will it take to de-mine Ukraine and Kursk?

It was time to end Russian aggression 2 years ago.

A naval blockade around both combatants is long overdue.

@grumble209@kolektiva.social Absurd.
