One in the myriad of stupid things with Home Kit and Widgets in iOS is that you can’t fucking add an AIQ sensor to the widget, so actually see CO2 levels when it’s time to open windows.

Had to use Scriptable to fetch data from Node Red, which is completely nuts and because OH MY GOD ITS WIDGET NOT A LIVE ACTIVITY it refreshes data at some random interval, you have abso-fucking-lutely no control

What’s more infuriating is that any app can shit to “Background App Refresh” without my consent and I have to go and turn off things that absolutely have no reason to run in background.

“oh, no need to close applications! iOS knows better” while some random app is siphoning my data because I haven’t yet catches it running in background.
