I actually remember when RedHat went IPO. I remember thinking that was a sign of success. Like finally we were getting somewhere. Making a difference. Our vision was becoming a reality that was accepted by the broader world.
I actually thought we were winning.

@FinalGirl@blackqueer.life I get that you're angry and hurt that your passion and ideals were ripped up and sold to big corporations, but please don't be mad at yourself. We're humans, we build community, we trust strangers who say they want to join our community. I love what you did for your community. And fuck the people that betrayed your trust. Fuck the people who sold out, and fuck the people who bought it. May they pay for what they did, in this life or the next. But you, community builder, take none of that blame. Though I get wanting to stay away from it all now.
