So that last toot is because of the BizPartner. He called me last night at 8:12pm.
Of course I don't answer. And why didn't I answer?

My wife said, "Maybe there's something he needs to talk to you about. Just be the bigger person. He's lonely."

I hate that my gut response is to quote my dad which is to blow a raspberry and throw a middle finger. Look. I'm a bean counter. There is absolutely no scenario where a call three hours after closing that I need to be called. None. Not even if the building is on fire.

So this morning he tells me the reason he called is because he had just talked to our UPS rep about 18 shipments that are lost. I was like, "and what was I going to do about it at 8 o' clock at night?"

BizPartner: "Nothing. I just wanted to tell you."

Bro needs to get a fucking therapist because again... I am NOT his emotional support girlfriend! 😡

@WrenArcher@beige.party I could see this as him just telling you so you could deal with it when you were at work instead of waiting and potentially forgetting details, or to mention it entirely (yes I have ADHD how did you know?) but in that case he should have sent a damn email and made it clear that he didn't expect an immediate response.

But he used the neurotypical torture device, aka telephone, so yeah, fuck that, you're not his emotional support girlfriend.
