If you can't laugh at yourself...

I dropped some yogurt on the floor this morning and then stood there like a numpty waiting for the floor🐈 manager to clean it up.

If you can't laugh at yourself, you're doomed to cry... and cry... and cry. Yesterday it would have been tears. Moving to a manageable level of deeply sad. You can be very sad and still have a little laugh at yourself.
