Today just became another day that's just not gonna happen. Another tax decision (and yes, this time it was bad), another shutdown coming on. I couldn't even finish my already meager as usual breakfast.

This weekend I could use some more real-time-chat-like peer interaction with fellow autists. If you have any suggestions for something like that, I'd really appreciate them. I'd start something myself, but in all likelihood I'm not gonna be functional enough for that for awhile.

@undefined_variable@mementomori.social there may already be a meetup group in your city. I searched meetup.com for autistic meetups in my city and found a couple of them.

@JoBlakely@mastodon.social That's a good reminder that those might exists! Unfortunately, they don't here, I should know, I tried to get some meetups going (and I'm the sole organizer of the local peer support group too)
