News: Spain Says No To F35

Spain has decided against the acquisition of a fleet of American-made F-35 fighter jets, instead opting to focus exclusively on potential rival Eurofighter Typhoon or Future Combat Air System (FCAS) orders.

One of the big issues with the F35 brought up earlier, but not mentioned in this article, is the concern that the plane could be "bricked" or otherwise interfered with electronically by the US, and our former allies no longer trust the US not to do so. It is a very sad and troubling state of affairs.
