Was good to be back on the timeline for a few days after a long break. However, after catching up on recent notifications and seeing some critical feedback, I'm reconsidering being active here. Frankly, it's made me question if it's worth the energy. We'll see.

Since someone seems determined to spin a whole conspiracy theory about me, letβs clear this up:
Accusation: Iβm running a βgriftβ to drive traffic to a professional website.
Reality: The link in my bio leads toβ¦ my other social media profiles. I donβt sell anything. No products, no services, no affiliate links. If this is a grift, it's the worst-funded one in history.
If I were truly in this for profit, Iβd at least slap on some Amazon affiliate links. But noβthatβs not my style.
If you think this is some elaborate grift, then sure, maybe Iβll start a Patreon. Or an OnlyFans. π
My only goal here is to share things I find funny. That's it. That's the whole "plan."
About the so-called βplagiarized jokesβ: welcome to the internet. Memes and one-liners have been reposted thousands of times since 2009.
Like millions of others, I often don't know the original source of a joke thatβs been reposted 100,000 times. The goal isn't to claim ownership, it's to share a laugh.
Thatβs the entire business modelβif you can even call βhaving funβ a business.
@cmconseils@mastodon.social @sashag@anarres.family Unless you handcraft every joke by hand, EVERY joke is plagiarized. The whole point of a joke is to share and reshare. :)
@larsrosenquist@mastodon.social @cmconseils@mastodon.social And often the ideas that come to your mind have sort of a background in stuff we heard or read before.
