You will be pleased to know that the 11th email has been received regarding the delivery of my pencil, and that I can expect to be in possession of it between 5 and 7pm this evening.

I fully expect to receive the 12th email saying it has been delivered as I am standing in the porch holding the parcel.

I was wrong. I didn't get the 12th email as I was standing in the porch with the parcel.

I got the 12th, 13th and 14th emails.

12: We've changed the delivery time window a bit
13: Evri - We've delivered your parcel
14: Ebay - Your order has arrived.

I effing know!

Because my excitement levels were off the chart (that's not having shot off the top but fallen below the x axis), this morning I opened my parcel that arrived yesterday evening. It contained the wrong pencil.
I see even more emails in my future.
