This new "Editor" feature that Microsoft jammed into Outlook is literally so stupid. Every grammar suggestion is something inane and incorrect like this.

@MLE_online@social.afront.org @CosmicTraveler@mastodon.social Youβre reminding me why I disabled grammar checking in Word more than two decades ago.

Oh I've seen people complain about this.
I did not realize those were pop ups. That makes it even worse. Is there any way to turn them off? Haven't used MS in 7 years. It was pretty bad already then.
Can't believe how bad it has turned to. π![]()
@mastosalo@nerdculture.de there is no way to turn it off. There are buttons that are supposed to turn it off, but they dont work

@MLE_online@social.afront.org @mastosalo@nerdculture.de A short story:
Many years ago, I stopped by the local pizzeria and ordered a cheese calzone. I got it, took it home, took a bite and realized that it had sausage.
I went back and said that my cheese calzone had sausage in it and that I'm vegetarian, and the response was, "So what? I didn't charge you for it."
I feel like Microsoft constantly overestimates the value of their "features" and can't imagine that people might not want them at all.
