@MLE_online@social.afront.org I've definitely seen cellophane-wrapped half-watermelons for sale somewhere.

Don't remember where, though. Maybe it was a fruit stand.

but yeah - no single person can eat a whole watermelon... and I'd hate to see the digestive results of someone who manages to.

@mathaetaes@infosec.exchange @MLE_online@social.afront.org in Italy you can buy half a watermelon. I don't have such problems though, because I don't like watermelons! 😂😂

@Misterxp@fosstodon.org @MLE_online@social.afront.org ooh! you know what, I was just in Italy a month or so ago. That's probably where I saw it.

@mathaetaes@infosec.exchange @MLE_online@social.afront.org what part of Italy?🙂🙂

@Misterxp@fosstodon.org @MLE_online@social.afront.org South Tyrol / Bozen; the Northern, German-speaking part. Mideval banners, stark cliffs (the dolomites are up there), castles all over the place. The locals didn't even consider themselves Italians.

Very different from the Italy that most people think of.
