Yesterday I was buying some stuff from a stall in a market and my children (daughter & son) were looking at some bookmarks with cat pictures they had on sale. The conversation between them went roughly like this:
S: Can we buy one of these?
D: No look, they're done with AI
S: Oh, you're right
D: It was obvious
S: So cringe
At this point I also looked at the bookmarks and indeed, it was generative AI slop, but it took me a minute to figure it out. They spotted it immediately.

So dear tech bros, forget the whole "GEnERAtiVe aI iS So GoOd yoU caN'T telL it'S Ai". Gen alpha can tell it's slop at a glance.
Furthermore gen alpha thinks you're cringe. Which means you're doomed. Give up already, nobody survives being labelled as "cringe" by a 10yo.
And for the record, my children speak Italian but they did indeed use "cringe" because it's become a universal label for shaming whatever your parents do and you most certainly won't.
