Eastern Tailed-Blue butterfly (and its large, annoying buddy).

A very small butterfly is resting at the end of a purple coneflower petal. The butterfly is light blue, with black and white outlines at the edges of the wings. The tiny, white tails are just visible on the lower edge of the wings. The tiny butterfly is now resting on the spiky center of a coneflower and has been joined by a large, fuzzy, yellow and black insect that looks like a bumblebee, but is likely a carpenter bee.
