In fact, it was counterproductive to Langley's efforts as they prefered to have existing stable regimes buttered up with US military aid.
I mean, look at #Morocco's illegal sand wall (with US military tech to detect intruders and antipersonnel landmines from the #USA) in it's occupied #WesternSahara and #Egypt's military.

@kkarhan@infosec.space @Redfuchs@furries.club The former CIA director ADMITTED that the Obama administration believed the Arab Spring would be a positive movement for democracy and ended up being an opportunity for Al Qaeda and Daesh. He didn't admit to helping but when the CIA sees a revolution as potentially helpful, they tend to get involved.
