Anyone tried to get the wrapper off a Chupa Chups lollipop recently?

When I go to see my mum at the nursing home I take a couple with me.
She used to smoke and would ask us to take her out for cig when we visited.
Now she is quite happy to suck a lolly instead of the smokes.
But getting the wrappers off is ridiculous.

@raymierussell@mastodon.scot Yeah totally. I discovered the creamy ones which are delish, but those wrappers are stupid. Even with a knife it’s awkward to get them off.

It is probably saving 2% in production costs to produce them that way but since the gazzllion customer man hours it wastes doesn't cost them - meh.

@raymierussell@mastodon.scot Paper wrappers are the way to go, or something biodegradable that is also easy to remove.
