Denmark zoo asks people to donate unwanted pets as food for its predators.
I knew there would be disgust, and an outcry, especially in the UK, about that news. But today there is further news that a zoo has killed 12 baboons to feed to the lions. The reasons are probably sensible, and the animals did not suffer, but you know what people are like and there have been demonstrations and marches already.
