Just making it easier to say, "people over this age shouldn't read this book" and what are people over 35 supposed to read? Obviously there should be a distinction between kids and adults books for things like language, violence and themes, but I think that's about all you need.

@Fragglemuppet@fandom.ink limited anecdotal counterpoint: I figure I aged out of the YA reading demographic by about 14 and am now coming up on 40, and I've been enjoying ACOTAR. From that narrow experience, it feels like while new adult is targeted younger, it's still engaging past that point (unlike my experience with most YA fiction)
